Tervetuloa meidän olkkariin. Täällä mieli lepää. Telkkaria on turha yrittää katsoa, sillä olen päättänyt asettaa nämä upeat auringonkukat (Helianthus) keskelle sohvapöytää. 

Welcome to our living room. Here the eye rests. It's pointless to try to watch TV, because I have desided to settle down these gorgeous Sunflowers (Helianthus) in the middle of the coffee table.

Tästä väriparista saan uskomattomasti energiaa: keltainen ja turkoosi. Kuin aurinko ja meri.  Ei lisättävää. Täydellistä. 

This colour couple gives me so much energy. Yellow and turquoise. Like sun and sea. Nothing to add. Just perfect.

Turkoosi, vaaleanturkoosi, sini-vihreä ja minttu. Siinä lyhykäisyydessään lempivärini kaikki vivahteet. Koska olen vahvasti Team Turkoosissa, haluan esitellä kuinka upeasti sen voi yhdistää muihin väreihin. Kasvikunnasta kun ei tahdo löytyä aitoa turkoosia väriä -ainakaan helpolla. Ensimmäisenä esittelyssä tämänhetkinen lempiyhdistelmäni: turkoosi-pinkki.

Turquoise, light turquoise, cyan and mint. For short, these are all the shades of my favourite colour. Because I'm strongly in Team Turquoise, I want to show you how wonderfully it can be combined with other colours. You won't find pure hue of turquoise in the plant kingdom -at least it's not easy. First I present you with my favourite combination right now: turquoise with pink.

Pinkkikukkainen mansikka bongattu kaverin parvekkeella viikko sitten. Saatan olla syypää hänen yllättävään innostumiseen turkoosista, ja sillä koko parvekkeen värittämisestä.

Pink flowered strawberry I found at my friend's balcony a week ago. I might be responsible for her recent inspiration with turquoise, colouring her whole balcony with it. 

Nämä ihanat 'Pink Tacazzi' -ruusut sain tänään syntymäpäiväni kunniaksi kukkatukusta. Kiitos Pasi!
